Ram : 4GB (2 X 2 GB) 2 DIMM DDR3 1333Mhz
GPU : ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 550v - 1GB
HDD : 500 GB (5400 RPM)
Optical Drive : DVD+/-RW Optical Drive
Power : 6 cell 48 WHr Li-Ion Battery

It's not looking good for any type of upgrade that makes sense. The CPU isn't bad at all, but the graphics card choice is very limited.
You're probably better off selling the n5010 for what you can get and using that money plus what you have saved up for an upgrade and getting a better gaming laptop.

For a replacement you can get a Lenovo Y570 for under $800
Sandy Bridge Core i5 CPU and GT 555M graphics
