Power on problem

(Lenovo B 50-30 touch) I removed the battery to eliminate the possibility of a battery issue during power up but it did not help. The power light comes on for 5 sec then off for 3 sec then comes on for 5 sec then blinks on and off...then resumes this cycle over and over again...HELP!!!!

Your laptop may actually not work with the battery out, some don't. You may well have to replace the battery to resolve the issue.
