I'm thinking of dropping my personal phone and just using my work issued iPhone 5s. I am allowed to use it as much as I want for personal use, but I'm a little concerned about privacy. I'm guessing they'll have access to all my sms and call history. Will they also be able to see all my browsing history over cellular data? What about over non-work wifi?

Also wondering if I access my personal mail via the phone if they can see that. As far as I know no extra monitoring software is installed.

It may depend on where you are physically located, what agreements (if any) you signed to become an employee. Most companies "reserve" the right to monitor any activities when company property is involved. If you are concerned, then pay the bills for your own phone.
