Question PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED

i've had the laptop since april. but only the most recent months the mic has been flaky every once in a while but just this month its just stopped working i've tried the basics of fixing it but to be frank i don't really know if what i've tried was correct
any solutions to this problem?
 
It should still be under warranty, I would think. Have you contacted Acer to ask them? Could be a number of issues, but if it's a hardware problem, they should fix it. You can try the usual things like making sure drivers are up to date.
 
check acers website and see if there are any newer drivers. also you can try deleting the current drivers, reboot then reinstall.
