Problem on laptop screen

my laptop screen having problem from last 2 months. lines are appearing on it. model number is HP G71-340US. its a 17 inch screen

Try attaching an external monitor and see if the issue goes away.

That would either suggest a broken screen or video needs adjusting -- so go back to laptop screen and try Windows, Setting, Control Panel, Display Settings, Settings, Advanced.

I think I'm getting the same problem. Screen is unreadable (intermittently) due to hundreds of vertical and horizontal lines on the screen. Like the sync is lost from the video feed. Did you find a solution?
