problem on screen

when I am working on my laptop got hanged screen full from very small squares and after 5 to 10 second screen get black and nothig happend after that and when again I start the laptop I got wide vertical lines in begning,screen hanged or get black.please help me.

Sounds like video failure. Unless you have a super high-end laptop with a separate video card, you'll be looking at a new motherboard.
