About a year ago I got a problem with my HP G62 laptop, and I just want to confirm that the problem is what I think it is.
What happened is that I was using it, and I guess it overheated or something, and my graphics card stopped working.
The sollution I used, is I reinstaled windows, but did not install the dedicated graphics card drivers, because as soon as I installed them the first time, the screen went black.
So... I think it needs a reballing or something but I'm not 100% sure if it is that or not.
The thing is, the first time I reinstalled windows and installed the dedicated graphics drivers, sometimes it would work for a few seconds, and then would go black.
I've been using only the integrated graphics since then and it has worked perfectly since, but I miss being able to play games at decent framerate in this laptop.
Is it a reballing it needs, or is it a lost cause?
