Problem With the Left Side USB Ports On My Laptop.

I have recently acquired a laptop. When i got the laptop the 2 USB ports on the left side wont work while the 1 on the right side does. My laptop model number is HP Pavilion g4-2029wm Notebook PC. Have tried to use driver downloader programs has not worked. In device manager there is nothing wrong under USB but under other device there is 2 unknown devices. I am running windows 7. Any help?

The connection to them could have come out on the inside.

You'll have to open it

when i plug my headset into one of the porTS IT WILL work cause the light powers on buy the mic dowsnt work. and with my mice they dont work at all.
