problems with audio in protools 10

I have an audio interface by audio box usb presonus and my mic is sterling audio. A producer listening to me says that i kind of has a distorted crackling sound... what can i do to fix it.

There could be a lot of reasons for that.
- If that "producer" was listening to you over eg Skype, this could be a network (eg slow upload) / application issue

To elimitane this: Run an audio recorder application on your computer (every Windows version has one), and check what you hear.
