Hello,
How can i use a projector when the people am presenting to can only view wat i want to present and not the entire laptop window i.e. can i have a projector window?on my laptop

Attach the projector, right click on the desktop, goto screen resolution and switch the from clone to extend desktop. The projector screen should be empty now and you can drag the the presentation window over to it.

Use extended desktop and try some app like Remote Monitor from the Windows Store. It shows a preview of the second monitor in the main one. It's very easy to use.
