Proper Subwoofer connections

My yamaha reciever has only one a.c. jack for the subwoofer but my sub has 2 wires how do I connect them

If the subwoofer has one input labeled LFE or mono use that one.
If it doesn't use either one. Set the crossover frequency all the way up since that is being done in the receiver.
