Proton compatible speakers

I have a Proton AI-3000 and need new speakers for it. Would like something bookcase size. Will the Bose 161 work?

The Proton is rated at 20 watts per channel into 8 ohms.
The Bose are rated for 10 watts minimum with a 4-8 ohm load. So it should work. I would suggest

will probably be more to your liking and a bit cheaper.

Thank you, The size may be a bit big for the space I'm using.

Better speakers are clearer at lower volumes. Bose isn't good at that so have to be played louder.
