Ps3 to projector

Please advise how to connect benqo mp510 projector to a ps3. Got all the cables and set some settings but still no view of the ps on the projector...

What cable did you use, specifically? Might need to connect to an hdmi output first and set resolution below the projector’s (probably 480p).

The only connectors I see in common are component like this:

I have an HDMI to vga adapter in the playstation and then i have a vga cable in the projector? I have changed the playstation resolution to the lowest resolution of 500?
I was advised that this should work? Please help

Since you are using the VGA/PC input set the output from 350 x 640 up to 1280 x 1024

Must i change the output on the PS or the Computer??
