I'm looking at purchasing a $3000 gaming laptop for extreme portable gaming. The laptop should be having a top-of-the line mobile graphics cards as I will be using it for heavy video editing and graphics animation. I already do have a desktop with a gtx 780 sli in my home but it simply isn't portable to be brought over to my workplace, which is exactly why I'm looking at a laptop for portability. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

No insult to Mazooni for the find.
For $2100, it needs to be able to do a domain join in addition to gaming. They cut corners putting a non-pro version of Windows on it, hoping to fool the casual user. If you're going to spend $2100, then just spend the additional $50 and stick Win7 Ultimate on there.

Ok, that seems to be a viable option but it's still far off from my budget cap. I was looking at the alienware m18x earlier which comes with 770m SLI's and is a lot closer to my budget cap. Does anyone think it is a good buy for the money?

I was looking at the middle one although I wouldn't mind spending the extra $200 for the last one if it came down to it.

took a look at it, but the fact that the graphics are not up to the standard I am expecting killed it for me, but thanks for the suggestion though.

the alienware m18x would be the best bet for your high budget since it is one of the few laptops that comes with an SLI cconfiguration. Do take a look at the sager laptops too as I believe there is one that comes with a 780 SLI

Yeah, thanks for the reply. I have my eyes set on the m18x but the drawback that I am facing right now is that it seems to weigh more than 6kg. Are there any lighter options out there that would be satisfying my needs?
