Putting an SSD into GP60 2QF LEOPARD PRO

Hi,

I would like to add an SSD to my laptop. The problem is it says upto 128GB SSD. I have a spare msata Samsung 850 250GB that I would like to add to it. Is it possible to add a 250GB SSD? I heard someone has done it before with no issues.

Yes. They just mean what you can buy from them. SSDs are all the same physical size. You can put a 1TB SSD in there if you want.

Samsung is good because they perform well but alos because of their Migration software which allows you to clone what's on your current OS drive to their SSD - provided the SSD has enough room. Sometimes you can delete stuff from the old drive to make it fit.
