Question about itunes

I have over 200 apps stored in itunes, and i maybe only have about 30-40 on my ipod. The unused apps are taking up space on my computer, but it would take me forever to find out which apps i have on my ipod, and then manually click on every single one i want to delete in itunes. If i were to delete the apps folder in the itunes folder, then resync my ipod, would it add only the apps on my ipod into itunes, or would it erase the apps on my ipod? Thanks for the help!

All depends on how you have the sync options set up, check those, will be obvious once you look.
