Question Can a larger case

always hold an ITX (mini ITX as some call it) MB? Or do I have to be careful and check specs?

You should always need to check the specs (just a good habit to get into) of the case to ensure that it supports (Mini)-ITX motherboards, but I'm 90% sure that they all use the same mount points (ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX)
