Ram Clips not opening!

Hi, I have an acer aspire one zg5. The ram clips simply won't open. There is no ram in it and it still doesn't open. Can someone please help me Thanks

Sodimm slots do not open like desktop memory, the memory slides in at a 30-40 degree angle then you press it down and the 2 clips will grab it.
