Razer Headset Crackling

Hello, everybody.
i'm just going to make this short and snappy, but when i'm recording my voice with my Razer Kraken Pro Headset, it is sometimes very crackly when I get excited and talk loudly. I have had to turn up the recording volume through the recording devices menu by 20db as i believe this headset was made for consoles?
Here are my PC specs:
8 Gigabytes HyperX RAM
GTX750-Ti Graphics Card
AMD-4130 Quad-Core Processor
930GB Hard Drive
Windows 10

It sounds like you are overdriving the mics amp and going into clipping. Train yourself to speak at a lower volume when your excite or turn down the recording volume and speak louder when your not 'excited'.
