okay so about a year ago i bought the Razer Kraken 7.1s and set them to great settings that i was really happy using. So a couple of months ago the cable started to tear and i bought the new Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma editions headset.

So the problem i am having is the new Chroma edition of the headset has too much base even though the settings are exactly the same ?

I think it was designed to have heavy bass; that's a thing those young gamers like these days. I notice that neither of your screenshots show the EQ—the equalizer, where you can really tweak sound settings. It should let you reduce the bass levels there, although I wouldn't be able to tell you which exact slider it is. I've always been deathly afraid of touching EQ sliders.

I have changed the eq settings and the noise is still really poor, let me explain it like this the sound is cupped like you are listening through shell... it has so much echo and i don't know how to fix this

Perhaps you have a virtual surround sound option enabled? Try disabling it and see if it changes anything.

Also have you used the headset with different sources besides your PC? Does the problem persist?
