Razer Tiamat 2.2

Solution
It's a great headset. I tried that one and the Tiamat 7.1.

Very full sound range on the 2.2 headset.

The Kingston HyperX Cloud is also very highly rated in the same price range.

I've found the microphone (I think it's the same on the 2.2 and the 7.1), to be very good. If anything, I've had issues with it being hard to turn on automatically since I talk quietly and it has good ambient noise cancellation.

Hmm, is the jack that the microphone is plugged into set as a input/mic? I know some motherboards allow each jack to be defined as whatever is needed (input and output). It might also not be set as the recording device in the Windows sound options.

Sorry for the late reply.

Yeah, the jack is an input for microphone.

It isn't in the recording devices for the sound options, but in the windows sound recorder, it shows that sound levels are detected from the Tiamat microphone.

I'm just waiting for iTunes to launch the test. (I use iTunes for most audio)
