For £500 - £600,it's basically impossible to find a gaming laptop.Lenovo G570 is a decent choice but has an integrated GPU.

As for the other laptop,I don't recommend Dell Inspiron series. They're well priced and have decent specs but the build quality isn't good at all.I recommend MSI GE60 instead

Not easily but after few months/years of usage,it may not look as new.(At least, all the inspirons I've worked it suffered this issue),why don't you consider other options? such as the MSI model I posted about ?

Well if your comparing the two.
People say three cores these days are good enough, but both are four core though one is i5 and one is i7.
One is a 660M with the other is 650M, of course the 660M is stronger
One has 750gb with 7200rpm while the other 1tb 5400rpm, but the 750gb give a free free recovery disk. Wouldn't expect that from much computer selling sites.
One is 15.6" and the other is 17.3" both 1080p, but if you have a tv/monitor that's bigger wouldn't matter at all.

I would go for the MSI GE60. If your looking for which would last longer, if your a casual gamer both would do. If your not a casual gamer and play at anytime your free, they wear out in like 2 years, but the 7200 rpm on the 750gb would keep the computer going longer than the 5400 over the years with all the increasing sizes of files.
