Recording Multiple Mics With An Audio Interface

I'm trying to decide whether or not I need to buy just one audio interface or if I need a second one. I'm wanting to record multiple microphones and have two separate audio tracks, so that I may edit each microphone individually. Is this possible with just one interface, or do I need a second to have multiple audio tracks?

If the interface has two mic inputs then each will be recorded to a separate track on your recording software. You could add additional tracks after you lay down the first two tracks.
An interface with more mic inputs would be needed if you wanted to record more than two tracks at the same time.
