Seems to me that the dominant Linux desktop vendor is Apple. And if Microsoft forces users away from XP, they may push them towards Apple.

Um, ever heard of Ubuntu? It succeeds where RedHat fails, and they gain market share every day. Perhaps RedHat should re-evaluate their business model instead of quitting outright.

Just as people's eye are seeing the light, I believe the demand for there OS would be coming in droves ..... I'm not happy with vista. Forcing me off xp,which i like, will have a very negative attitude towards microsoft. I have been thinking of taking a break from computing when we will be forced to use vista... well whats to say they wont force us to play only certain games as well in future.
