[citation][nom]blazorthon[/nom]You feel for me? So, I can't make a joke anymore either just because the first one involves Atheism? At least 12 people liked mine. Assuming that you thumbed it down, that's at least thirteen.[/citation]
If that was a joke then it wasn't funny or it went over my head and that doesn't really happen much.

I think the virus programmer just got carried away with the content in the porn site that he/she forgot what he/she was up to...

[citation][nom]Camikazi[/nom]If that was a joke then it wasn't funny or it went over my head and that doesn't really happen much.[/citation]

He/she said "Thank god I'm an Atheist" and I said "Isn't that hypocritical", referring to how "thanking god" when you're an Atheist seems to defy the point of being an Atheist. I thought it was a little funny. I wasn't mocking anyone for any religious standing, just stating a fact that seemed to be a little funny to me. I had no intention of insulting anyone and I don't see how it bothered you.

Being an agnosticated atheist and strongly anti-porn probably accounts for my never having had a virus, malware, trojan, etc., on any of my computers during 20+ years of use.

[citation][nom]leakingpaint[/nom]The rest of the world couldn't care less if you hate religion or a cheese sandwich - why do people feel the need to tell us what they "are" instead of commenting on the actual article. Many religious sites are attacked on purpose (by people like you), or are underfunded and therefore can't actually find someone to help them build a decent site which would otherwise not be flooded with malware. Nobody mentions that a few of these sites are actually designed to help people not hurt them. It's funny how so many people "hate" religion yet as soon as they have kids they try to raise them using values instilled by RELIGION be it Christianity, Buddhism or similar.[/citation]

Well I think people should probably stop having children because it's not right to bring people into this screw-up of a world. Also stop perpetuating the myth that religion is the inventor or disseminator of morality. If that was true then why would wild animals occasionally do moral things such as raising young. Morality and Immorality are in our genetics and if we don't like the way they are then we can use logic to fake them. We don't need someone to teach us and we don't want people with seriously perverse morals, such as believing we must stone to death people who work on a particular day of the week such as sunday, trying to teach us what is right and wrong. By the way, faking morality by using education or logic does not get morality built into our genetics according to Darwinian evolution. Maybe it would with Lamarckian evolution and religious people need to learn the difference between those two evolution theories because one of them exists in nature and the other does not.

Religious people should be attacked and taken down because they are a menace. I don't care how much they intend to help us. Intention combined with stupidity can result in an outcome that is totally opposite to the intention. A lot of the time, the more they try to help, the more damage they cause without even realizing it. They have no shame for the damage they cause because they don't even realize they are causing damage, and that is one of the main reasons they are so dangerous. They would probably be less dangerous if they stopped trying to do good.

If people want to act like children and play dress-up and make-believe all their lives then let them go do it elsewhere where they can't hurt anyone except themselves with their own stupidity; don't let them permeate government with their cult.

Biblical faiths, and their sites and institutions are under attack. That is a fact.
Jesus is my Lord. He is my savior - I know this to be true through faith.

Yes you are under attack and you will be made to pay dearly for what your cult has done. Your only possible saviors are scientists, Stop diverting people's attention away from science and onto people who have died a long time ago, who could not possibly be alive now, and may have been hugely fictionalized. Wake up and take your head out of the sand or stay there and shut the hell up and stop voting your idiot people into the government who try to make us wealthier by not funding or encouraging science and basically not investing in the future but instead ask us to all gather together and talk to the air about how superman or some other imaginary friend has to save us using magic spells and super-powers.

Can we not be bigots here and accept that other people have different beliefs and understand that, when pertaining to a reasonable person* that their beliefs have no effect on you. We should at lest try.

I doubt the reason for for religious sites containing a large amount of Malware is due to "LOL religion suckz!" rather that religious sites are more likely low budget. The need to make at lest enough to run the website mostly likely creates the need for advertisements. These advertisements, as most users on this site know may contain Malware. Most groups running these sites may not know this and as such may use advertisements from questionable sources. Another source for this problem is the user base. The porn industry user base has a large number of young(er) males who are most likely somewhat technology adapt. The most likely use protection (this is not meant to be a bad pun) like adblocker. On the other hand a religious site's user base may contain larger amounts of older users, most who probably don't even what Maleware is let alone how to stop it.

*a person who understands that beliefs are personal,

No, their stupid beliefs are having an effect on everyone because those stupid people are the majority and they each have the same vote power as a smart person so they keep voting their cult-members into the government. The government is full of them now. Anybody found to be religious should forfeit their right to vote or be in power.

I believe Obama is actually an atheist but because the cult is so powerful and dangerous like a mafia and would probably kill him, he has to pretend to be one of them.

sorry forgot to add the block quotes everybody it should read:

rotfl! you are beyond help. Maybe your scientific brain needs more Serotonin to be happy. I'm not sure what's happened in your life but I do pity you thinking that the answer to life is to never have children and hate religion. Good luck disliking the world!

[citation][nom]neon neophyte[/nom]atheism is as much a religion as not collecting stamps is a hobbie or not playing football is a sport[/citation]
Logical fail. Atheism isn't a lack of belief in a god, it's a belief in a lack of a god. A better analogy would be someone who went around trying to stop people from collecting stamps, which would count as a hobby. The point is that you're active in your belief that "stamp collectors" are wrong. You aren't just a "non-stamp-collector", you're an "anti-stamp-collector". HUGE difference.

[citation][nom]willard[/nom]Actually, what you've describe is being Agnostic, which is also a form of religion. Atheism is not a form of religion, in fact it is the opposite. It's just the fundamentalists that like to say atheists "believe" in something, because one of the most common targets in religion for atheists to attack as illogical is belief itself. If atheists "believe" in the Biblical sense, then everyone must also "believe" that there is no magical purple monster that lives in the left shoes of nine year old German girls. You must "believe" that there is no discotheque hidden in the asteroid belt serving up 70s dance music for interstellar travelers. Indeed, everything capable of thought must hold an infinite number of "beliefs" that are nothing more than a list of impossibilities. How meaningless is it to point out one of these infinite number of beliefs?Atheists no more "believe" in the lack of God (in the Biblical sense of the word) than they "believe" the Earth is the third planet from the sun. Things are simply true or not true. To an atheist, science represents the search for truth (it's kind of the whole point of science), while religion represents ancient explanations for natural phenomena that only made sense thousands of years ago before we knew any better.Belief and faith are not part of an atheist's world, and it is this very absence that is the key to understanding them. An atheist has made the ultimate commitment to accepting truth and reality. Do you think an atheist likes the idea that death is the ultimate end and that there is nothing after? Of course people like the idea of heaven, eternal life in paradise and seeing all your lost loved ones again. Could you think of anything better? To what lengths would you go to believe that your lifetime of goodness will be rewarded with the best thing possible, and evil men will be punished instead of receiving the same gift. It's an intoxicating idea that's very difficult to let go of, and the knowledge of what must surely replace it can be very difficult to come to terms with.As Stephen Hawking once said:[/citation]

Do you believe in the Higgs boson?

What a moron. Sure religious sites may not be up to date since they're poor but which one do you think get more visits? Porn sites and their malware-filled sidekicks got a gazillion more visits than religious sites. It doesn't matter what the odds are. They're the ones who are infecting people with malware the most. That's just plain statistics. Can't believe somebody would make this kind of useless assessment by just reading numbers in reports.
