Remove coffee smell from laptop

I spilled coffee on the desk where my laptop was. The underside of the laptop now smells of coffee. This is 24 hours later. I have tried cleaning with alcohol but did not work. Any suggestions on how to remove smell?

More cleaning and time. Did you clean inside the system also or did it only get on the outside for sure and not in any vents or cracks?

Just spray it with some Lysol. BUT I strongly suggest you take it apart, and clean each individual part.

If I heard a tech spray a laptop with anything to get rid of a smell, I would not allow anyone I knew go see them.

Wiping it down with a lightly damp cloth yes. Spraying, no. Even to clean the screen you want to spray cleaner on the rag/towel not on the screen.
