My sense of the matter is that it is a bug in Version 14.
Any other known changes to your system: e.g., some update - maybe for your graphics card?
Could well be the the vendor has not recognized or acknowledged the problem. Not at all uncommon.
Contact their support staff. See what they have to say.
Use "chat" if you can. The important part is to be able to document what you are told.
Thank you so for your reply. Vegas is no longer Sony, it is now headquarted in Germany - Sony Softwqare was sold (I think) maybe 6 months ago. Si when I found the problwm I immedately began making nose. They are hard to get ahold of - using only email. They have a number in Florida, but not for Tech Support, and the don't often answer it, I did get them one day about 2 months ago, so they got me a tech support ticket from Genmany. and right now they (Magix is their new name) have only asked me for system information. waiting about a month now, no other reply. ...unfortunate ...was great software, I don't think any other compares..
