Repairing headset mic

First of all let me apologize in case I've posted this in the wrong section, I don't know exactly where this would be.

I have a Razer Carcharias headset, and the mic has some broken connection at the base of the jack.

Now I have a question:

What type of jack should I buy because I've already taken apart my cable(cut the end off to see if I could fix it.) and I've lost the end because I have mischievous cats.

Any help would be very appreciated

It looks like a 3.5 mm jack

If having an old headset, you can just use the jack from them (just connect/solder the wires).

I don't have the original jack - so just standard 3.5 jack would work? or do i need to make sure there are two rings on the jack?(lack of name))

How many wires (ground included) on the loose cable (Carcharias)?

Two - ground and sleeved white

Then no need for two rings (stereo jack).
