Replacing acre aspire screens

I have 2 Acer aspire laptops.The 5738z works but has damage to screen, the 5741z no longer works but the screen is working! They are both 15.6 but are they compatable

open up the 5738Z to see if uses a 30 pin ccfl connector or a 40 pin led connector which the 5741Z uses.

I know both have 40 pin led conectors

then you are good to go screen swapping. had to do that with my current laptop that I got from a customer besides replacing the hard drive.

just be careful so you don't scratch the good screen. I've replaced about 2 dozen laptop screens for customers & my own laptop.
