Replacing Wifi Card with SSD

Im planning on replacing my wireless card with one of those Mini SATA SSD's because im removing the wireless card im planning on buying one of those cheapy usb Wifi cards the wifi usb im looking at is 150MB/s witch should work i have a 16mb/s network. This isnt a gaming laptop i use it chatting with friends and skype however i do load up the occasional speed runners or something. Will using a non internal wifi card wreck the proformance of online activities?

The USB wifi adapters work just fine for what you are describing. I use one that is N150 on a notebook, and it is quite stable, and does not drop the connection.
