Made the mistake of calling ReplayTV support today to find out why my
ShowStopper couldn't dial in today. Looking at posts on various Replay user
websites, it was clear others were having the same problem with their
various models, beginning today.

Ended up talking with "help" - I think that Denon, like other companies, has
moved tech support to India....

Anyway, they denied any report of their servers having problems, and
recommended I contact Panasonic (yeah, right, THEY are going to fix it...) I
explained I was trying to make THEM aware of it - they sort of seemed
appreciative. One hour later, dial-up was back.

Also tested out dialup over Vonage. Using the tips on the web, I slowed the
modem to 9600 and it worked fine. Since I have unlimited minutes, no
worries. :)

Replay does not operate the dial-in servers. They use 1 or more national
networks. If you call early you get TX for support, later, India.
