Well, This is the "jackass, douchebag" that built this "piece of crap" and I wanted to give you all some insight on it. First of all, We didn't pick the motor, color, style, tires, or anything else on this bike. Yes, we could easily have added taillights, turn signals, and speedo to make it street legal, BUT WE WERE BUILDING A REPLICA OF THE BATPOD. It didn't have any of that shit, so we left it off, - get it? It's a Replica!!!
You people are so caught up hating on something, you don't stop to think that maybe all these things you are bitching about were done on purpose. Get a life!!! As for the frame being "road worthy" as you call it, It was completely custom built (including the handlebars)from 1/4 inch hardened steel and is more than capable of being driven without worry. If anyone here can do better for 5000.00 or any other amount... as my father used to say, "Don't tell me about the sex, show me the kids". I would love to see what any one of you could build. As for the 5000.00 deposit, that was for the winner of the auction, not to look at the bike, get your story straight. As for your bike builder friend that wouldn't pay more than 5k for it, tell him I said, "Build one, and I will be there ready to buy it from him for 5k the day its finished", but that will never happen because at the end of the day, this is all just talk. Gotta go now, gotta go waste another 1000 manhours so you guys will have something to talk shit about tommorrow.

PS - To the people with positive comments, we do appreciate them, sorry you had to hear me trash the negative people.

Well, it looks spot on but it seems the only thing slightly off is the tire profile. It looks more rounded in the movie, which would definitely contribute to the ability to actually turn/lean the bike, obviously. Still, it's not like you can just hop online and order a 14" wide motorcycle tire. Gotta compromise somewhere.

Custom bikes are overpriced and very likely don't handle on the road very well. Pretty good example here I guess. I'm not a motorcycle guy anyway. I had one fall on me the other day trying to move it. Big clunky ass heavy overpriced vehicle. I didn't damage it luckily but whatever. Who ever thought of building motorcycles large, obnoxious, and heavy is an idiot. At least my car doesn't 'lean' and fall over like an over stuffed pig lol.

[citation][nom]builderbobftw[/nom]100k$?Rather buy myself a real car with that. And a nice one at that.[/citation]

Um, yea, it was not built for people that are looking to buy a car, or anything practical for that matter. Just like those $10,000 cell phones with gems are not marketed to your average red bull guzzling teenager. I'm waiting for some "people have too much time on their hands" posts as well.

Ok... some people have too much time on their hands. In other words people are jealous that Mr. Dude working on this bike has time to do what he enjoys... unlike some zombie yuppies drinking coffee all day in order to stay awake while they grovel at the feet of the guy barking orders... "Get me more coffee and donuts!!!"
