I'm willing to bet any amount of money in this world that apple's done it already.

[citation][nom]Lan[/nom]I really hope not. I like hulu, but I don't own any apple "idevices" for a reason.[/citation]

hmm Microsoft's acquisition of Skype came with the promise and followthrough of keeping the software and service available to more than just their in house devices. This allowed Skype mobile to be integrated into Androids, Iphones, etc. Furthermore Microsoft has stated that they do not intend on pulling Skype from anyone. Fair and open.

Apple's potential acquisition of Hulu would be the downfall and or subjugation of a semi successful cross platform service. The functionality of the Xbox, PS3, BD players would fall to the wayside because of Apples business strategies.

Why won't this company and it's religious followers just go away.

Studios don't like the low amounts of money companies like Netflix and Redbox rent their movies for, but when those studios try to sell their own content directly to the public themselves, through Hulu, they can't make any money off it. The studios have given up. They'll take a big up-front cash payment for Hulu, and then, when the 5-year license agreement runs-out, they'll kill Hulu with their ridiculous licensing fees.

Why would they waste money on a service that only operates in the States. Maybe Jobs can work some of that 'magic' he's always bragging about to secure access to Hulu's content for people outside of the ol USA
