[citation][nom]tayb[/nom]"I don't like devices that try to do everything." LOL. You carry around your cell phone, your MP3 player, a web browser, and a camera? Hey, good for you. I carry around an iPhone.[/citation]

I'd rather carry 4 devices that are the best at what they do than one device that is only average at everything.

LOL

Geez... most of these comments... add something to the conversation not just empty: "ZOMG!! camera + Apple= Crapple! D:"

I recently got married, and bought iPhones for my wife and I (We have to travel a lot and having access to the internet is wonderful). We just got back from our Honeymoon and thanks to our phones I was able to take tons of pictures to share with my family and friends. I just used a flickr updater app and set my phone to send the new pictures to my photostream right away, or at night when we went to bed. I have never owned an actual camera, and I will admit the pictures aren't the best I have ever seen, but the camera on my phone took some beautiful pictures. I even practiced doing some HDR by focusing on different points of the scene and combining the image at home with ease. I can't imagine a better device for my needs. It's not about how big your lens is, it's about how you use your device.

While I am not particularly anti Apple (I own at least one of their products and am happy with it) I can't believe how much they exploit the "Keeping up with the Jones'"

Every time they release a new device, it's the same thing as the previous, with one mediocre feature that SHOULD have already been on the device in the first place.

Wow, the iPhone 3GS can record video! I have a 5 year old Motorola Razr that can do that.
