Reset computer complicated

Ok. so i put windows 7 on my computer. this computer came preloaded with windows 8.1, it was a bear to even get it to run windows 7. well now i found out that i don't need windows 7 like i thought i did so i'd like to go back to windows 8. but i cannot figure out how.
No windows restore points to access.

You cant, you have to do a fresh install of windows 10. You can use the media creation tool to create a bootable usb installation device. http/go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=691209

yea that's what i was afraid of. i'll have to go buy a flash drive
