Reset lock screen options?

On the lock screen in windows 8 where you have to enter your password to get into the computer, there used to be a sign in options where you could use a pin or a password. I didn't know the pin so I hit password but don't know the password. I now know the correct pin to get into the computer but now it only gives me the password choice. How do I get it back to where I can put in the pin when I can't even get into the computer?

If you don't know the PIN number or the Password that would suggest it is not yours so give it back to its rightful owner and stop trying to break into other peoples property.
