If I reset my computer do I need to reinstall windows?

Resetting your computer generally means that it will reinstall Windows for you, yes. It usually tells you what it will do once it begins the process and in some cases, it will have the option to back up all of your data for you.

Either way, I would back everything up before you start this. It will basically put Windows back to how it was when you got it brand new out of the box.
