Start by doing a complete virus/malware cleanup just to be safe.

Next is to disable your startup items.
- Press the Windows key + R at the same time and type "msconfig" then press OK.
- Click on Startup tab then select Disable all.
- Click Apply and OK then reboot your laptop.
