Hey guys I think I have a real doozy here,
I bought an HP Pavilion 17 g119dx laptop for my mother for christmas. it came preloaded with windows 10 and she didn't want to have to learn a new operating system. So i went into bios and changed the boot directory to boot from the cd rom/dvd rom drive on the laptop. I restarted the computer and installed windows 7 home premium. Which I have never had any issues doing in the past.
After the install was complete I tried to connect to the internet and came to find out that during the install of the windows 7 the drivers for the ethernet and wlan were deleted. I went to hp's website to download the drivers and found out that they only have the drivers for the laptop I purchased for windows 10.
So I am looking to revert the computer back to windows 10 so that my mother can either use her computer or I can return it and find another option. HP wont help me do this unless I pay them $100. (which will be my very last option) If any of you kind hearted ladies or gents out there have any answers as to how I might accomplish this I would be most appreciative!!!!!
Thank you in advance for all of your time, help and efforts!!!

) I was hoping that there might be a simpler way to do it. No sticker with activation key on bottom of laptop or in the battery case area either. Also not sure if the drivers for the ethernet and wlan will restore with a fresh install from the Media Creation Tool, so that also made me a bit hesitant as well.
