This is a speaker for home use exclusively as you point out. If I were buying a speaker it would need to be much more portable, suitcase friendly, and I prefer the speakerphone option - I recognize that many do not. The price is excessive for this offering as indicated. For now I will be sticking with my Mighty Dwarf BlueII - Bluetooth vibration speaker. It is about $100 and has the unique capability of being able to turn your table or desk INTO the speaker.
