I have a Samsung S 3 that I use solely for streaming movies and shows. It doesn't have a SIM card since it's my old phone and I have a new one. It has worked perfectly for what I use it for up until recently it started giving the error that there is no SIM card and that it needs to restart. If I do, the error pops up again. I keep it connected via wifi so there's no need for a SIM card and I don't know how to get rid of the error message. Any suggestions?

Try turning off data in "Settings". If it continues after that, I would start to wonder if there is a bad app, virus or malware on the device that is what is searching for it.
