I must admit I was thinking the same thing. It has such a good ring to it and rolls off the tongue beautifully.
 
"Samsung: End Bracket" was said, by a focus group, to have little to no appeal, and was actually more descriptive of the users who they are aiming this at.
 
You'd think the :) would be the name of a epic texting phone. How about a horizontal slide out cheap phone (same style as the others, but just cheaper).
Kudos to Samsung for the awesome naming scheme though.

I just told a co-worker about this phone. That's EXACTLY how I described to them the name of it.
 
Think very carefully before buying a Samsung brand phone!!!

I have a Samsung Epix, a VERY expensive phone when I got it. On paper it has a lot of features, problem is that most of them don't work. PLUS there is no support from the manufacturer. An OS upgrade has been promised for almost 6 months but has not been made available. The GPS doesn't work and the internet access is VERY slow. By the time I figured all of this out it was too late to get a different phone and then I was stuck with it for 2 years.
