Personally I'd rather just encode it and transfer it over PC, but I'm sure some will find this convenient.

im suprised people would buy this,

you can plug a nas box into a lot of routers, that means you can rip all your films/music to avi/mp3 then stream them to your devices anyware in the world

plus there really cheap, with some routers you can plug a normal usb hard drive in and it will turn it into a nas drive

A device that allows you to read a disk with your phone is cool. The rest is just fluff but still useful.
