Solved! Samsung smart tv and Netflix - no sound

Just purchased a samsung smart tv to watch netflix; tv is hooked up to dish network and bose sound bar. When netflix is loaded and ready to watch there is no sound on the movie. HELP

How do you have it set up? Is the dish network connected directly to an input on the bose sound bar? Or is the dish network connected to the TV, and then TV output is connected to the Bose soundbar? What kind of inputs does your Bose soundbar have, and what type of outputs does your TV have?

HDM1 cable from TV(HDM1 inslot) to bose box tv in slot.Then satellite HDMI cable from dish box to bose cable sat slot

the bose box has tv, cable/sat, dvd, game and aux slots

ok, so you're Hdmi in on TV is getting the dvd/blue ray from bose? I think the problem is that you have no sound output on TV going back to Bose. Does your tv have any sound output connections that you can link to the input on the Bose;
