Samsung TV stops playing sound through HDMI

My Samsung 50" plasma TV stops playing (HDMI) sound after its turned off and turned back on again.
First this started happening on VirginMedia (cable) box but I have also tried to connect Xbox and its the same.
Tried different HDMI cables.
Sound WORKS after the TV reset (power off, press power button for 10 sec, power back on) and works fine WHILE TV is turned on.
If I turn off the TV only for 1 minute the sound is still there.
If I turn off the TV for more than 10-15 minutes the sound is gone and I have to reset TV again.
No issue with picture whatsoever.

I have tried to search for similar issue but can't find anything so weird.

Any suggestions / ideas?
