Man that's sad... another major depressive patient taking it to the end.
unfortunately, it happens everywhere; we are learning about this only because he was a VIP.

Sad news, but I wonder how many people in North America and Europe have committed suicide because they were on the bottom or middle of the barrel and due to downsizing and layoffs they were axed. It happens more than it gets reported, I am certain of that.

Because the big CEOs in the US don't give a $h!t about us poor citizens. Why should they worry about me losing my house and giving up my 7 year old dog cause I can't take care of her anymore while they get 6 or 7 digit bonuses in the middle of a depression?
Trust me, even tho the situation is different, I can relate with the feeling of why the hell am I wasting my time trying.
I don't know what a Samsung VP makes but if you feel it is safe to assume it is in 6 figures, why the heck didnt he just retire if his job was stressing him out?! It sounds like his obsession with a high standard of living drove him to suicide and not a stressful job.
Something similar happened to a chief engineer from Toyota a couple of years ago. He was in charge of the hybrid version of the Camry and was under immense pressure to get it finished. He ended up either having a heart attack or committing suicide, I can't recall.
Being world leaders in technology fields comes with a price.
This is pedantic and probably tasteless, but the headline is wrong.
"Samsung VP Commits Suicide, Blames Work"
He did *not* commit suicide and then blame work. Any blame leveled by him happened before he died, unless he is now haunting the Samsung silicon foundry and is available for comment.
