Was in Best Buy and saw some trailer for a disney cartoon or something
and it had lots of pixellation along the characters' edges. Funny
looking stuff. Kinda like the old halftone screens for printing blown
up some.

I see what a problem this stuff would be.

Almost like that cheap digital censoring they do on butts and tits.

Thanks Best Buy, nice to know 😉

LOL, I guess top posting is OK here 😉

Yeah I thought i'd mention it as you guys never seem to describe
exactly how shitty the SD picture is on a $2000 TV set.

Oh, and multipath ?? You know, the stuff NO ONE gets ?

It's a bitch 😉

Yeah saw it today at another store.

Finally got to see OTA channels too. A couple looked good. But the SD
stuff looks like you bought one of those $199 curved screen 32" TVs.
Maybe worse.

Looks like you need two TVs if you expect to watch a good picture, one
for regular stuff and one for HDTV.

I think most people could wait not one or two years, but three or four
years and be a lot happier.

C-ya.
