Screen is broken but not cracked

So i bought a Dell Inspiration 15 5K gaming and it worked fine for a few weeks. Then suddenly, it's screen is broken but not cracked. Im not sure what happened so if someone could help me identify the problem, it would be great. I tried plugging in another display but it wouldnt show anything.

You mean there is no display, even on an external monitor? contact dell, the gpu might have failed

I suspect that i might have overcharged the device. Would that possibly kill the laptop?

Not likely. A laptop should stop charging automatically once it hits 100% charge.
