I'll guess the screen appears stretched or slightly magnified even when set at the monitors native rez?
If so it's an overscan issue but we need to know which graphics card you are using before we can guide you on how to correct it.

Have you accidently set Ease of Access to magnify the screen?

Check the configuration:

"WIN" + "I" > Ease of Access > Magnifier
