screen turns white

the screen on my Acer Aspire S3 has turned white. What can I do please

Hi,

Does it still load the Acer splash screen when you turn it on? Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help in solving the issue.
- Start by doing a hard reset, remove the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds and see if the laptop will boot up normally.
- If it doesn't work try connecting an external display and see if you'll get a normal display on it because if you do the problem lies in the built in display.
- Next to try is to load the laptop into Safe Mode.
- While the laptop is booting up repeatedly press on F8 until it loads Advanced Boot Options then select Safe Mode.
- If all these will not work and if the Acer screen still does show up last resort would be to do a clean install of Windows.
